Torrontes with Kevin Hodge /kim klein/mo bev

Just the other night it was commented on how quickly Torrontes has blown up in this market. It seems to hit the right points for many people in that there is a refreshing crispness with beautiful aromas and just a hint of sweetness.

Mapema Sauv Blanc 2011 Argentina... very soft.. almost too much so... not herbal and not grapefruit

La Posta Cocina Blanco 2010.. a blend of chard/torrontes and sauv blanc.. bright fruit up front but a quick finish

Coquena Torrontes 2010 argentina.. very pretty nose, lush mouthfeel but enough acidity to keep it interesting

Hey, nice to see Kevin is still working wine. Did he mention what an unapologetic, cheating, philandering, cowardly piece of shit he is?

I wouldn't trust his opinion on squat as he lacks integrity. I hope he didn't influence your evaluation of the tasting.

Cheers,

Jonathan
