Charles Corso with Michael Corso Selections/ Vintegrity

After tasting every day wines everyday, its nice to taste through more adventurous, well made wines that unfortunately dont see the light of day that the average everyday wines do.

Joseph Perrier Cuvee Royal Brut NV Champagne 1/3 each Pinot Noir, Meunier and Chardonnay.. a lighter style mousse, soft clean finish.. pleasant but not quite the show stopper

Domaine Jacky Jondet Beaujolais Village 2012.. dirty french nose, aged in oak barrels.. brickish color.. this wine should sell as well as any everyday merlot because its more like what they want to be..however most people think Beaujolais and Nouveau or cheap wine.. lush and really a good food wine here

Chateau La Marzelle Bordeaux St Emilion 2010.. dark brooding color in the glass and the wine is a bit brooding too.. not showing a lot of fruit today

Chateau St Guirons Pauillac 2009  from a great vintage.. dark purple  lean with graphite and earthy knotes, chunky tannins...

Domaine Raspail-Ay Gigondass 2011  my kinda stuff   juicy, dirty, earthy, meaty.. cocoa and mocha notes on the finish.. the best of this tasting

Petit Guiraud Sauternes 2010  lots of high notes with this wine.. not as viscous but that is ok... toasty almond more of a madeline wine than a creme brulee

AE Dor VSOP Cognac  makes my nose tickle.. chocolate covered orange hints..more viscous than the Sauterne.. tasty. a little heat up front that softens
