new year.. new wine

Ionia distributors.. josh mott

Ant Moore Sauvignon Blanc New Zealand 2012... everything expected in new Zealand sauv blanc.. and nothing more... just another NZ sauv blanc

Uccelliera Rapace Super Tuscan 2010.. a proprietary name and nothing more.. 70 % Sangiovese, with merlot and cabernet.. good depth and color.. some Italian stink but not awful.. long finish

Matteo Correggia Roero Nebbiolo 2011.. the best wine I have tasted this year.. lots of cherry vanilla, soft and juicy..

Virna Barolo 2008... again with the stink.. good mouthfeel,, and price for the bottle is very nice.. long acidity..

Cynthia with Bommarito

Domaine de Cristia Grenache Blanc vin de pays mediterrane 2011... talk about hitting the head on the varietal head...green olive.. gawky needs time... good mouthfeel but very disjointed..try it again in 3 years

Chateau Genot Boulanger Les Saumants Mercurey 2010  light in color.. a little earthy.. not a lot of fruit.. kind of bland

Caterina Zardini Valipolicella Classico Superiore 2010  deep and rich., beautiful nose of vanilla and roses, long finish... good grip on the palate... according to sources they treat this to a little of the dried fruits like amarone... only 15 days instead of 30
