Vintage 59 wines/ vintegrity

Alain Normand Macon La Roche Vinuse 2012  macon still represents a good value for burgundy, if even still a little pricey. this is tank fermented with good chard fruit.. slight citrus on the finish.. missing some tension

Closerie des lys chardonnay 2011.. on the shelf.. today was smelling a little vegetal.. stainless also with some creaminess from lees?

Bachelet-Monnot Puligny Montrachet 2011  beautiful nose that reminds of soft oak and tropical fruit.. sweet fruit on the palate.. creamy

Lavernette Beaujolais-Leynes (Linn) 2011  from the area around the Village of Leynes, slight french stink that comes from the Gamay.. good fruit tannin on the palate..

Chateau Haut Monplasir Traditiona 2010 dark roasted nose, pretty purple in the glass.. may be just a little corked not showing fruit as well as it should

Muzard Santenay Champs Claude V.V. 2011... tight nose, good texture some fruit up front but not in back.. I was expecting a little more umphhh

Domaine Mathieu Chateauneuf du Pape 2010  a field blend of all the allowed grapes.. long finish.. dark berry up front and lots of coffee and roasted meat on the end... starts of slightly bitter and finishes with a nice meaty sweetness
