wine with robert/garco

Michel-Schlumberger pinot blanc dry creek 2012... boy you can sure tell the difference between old and new world here.. using the same clones as Schlumberger in Alsace this wine is big and tropical.. long finish.. chardonnay roundness... and banana staying with me till the end

Aruma Malbec Argentina 2011.. dark color, dense in color and taste.. coffee bean and dark fruit on the end... a nice note from the otherwise similiar malbec in this price

Le Bocce Chianti Classico 2009.. light sangiovese color in the glass.  a little less earthy on the nose, but still not to be thought of as different. soft and some pretty fruit on the finish.. not as shoeleather as some can be

Giacosa Dolcetto d'Alba 2011.. bright red in the glass.. with a slight medicinal nose, mouthfilling but yet not fruity.. may be in a dumb phase... just not showing its true potential

Seven Sinners Petite Sirah The Ransom 2010  teeth staining purple in the glass.. dark plummy fruit on the palate.. on the edge of being flabby but just enough acidity to keep that from happening

Stemmari Moscato Sicily 2012... typical moscato.. not overly sweet but lush..typical.
